Step 1: Meet Admission Requirements.
CNA Program Applicants MUST:
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be in good health and able to bend, twist, lift at least 50 pounds, and be free from communicable disease.
Not be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry in revoked status; Cannot be listed as an unemployable on the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) and cannot have been convicted of a criminal offense as listed in Texas Health and Safety Code 250.006.
Provide a copy of your Driver's License, ID card or Passport.
Provide a copy of your Social Security Card.
You will also need to buy a pair of black scrubs to be worn during class and clinical labs.

You must register and complete the CBT online course in order to attend this class. See instructions below to access and register for the CBT Course. If you have any issues with registration for this course, reach out to us via phone or email.
Pay $100.00 Registration fee, check dates of upcoming CNA Hybrid Course found on the home page and email certificate given at the end of the CBT course and the class date you would like to attend to trinityhealthcareservicestx@gmail.com.

Traditional Certified Nurse Aide Course:

Once the registration form and $100.00 Registration fee are received email with class start date and first day instructions will be sent to the email on the registration form.
Note: We must have at least 2 students to confirm in order to have this course.

CBT Online Course Instructions
Step 1: Register for Part I: Free Computer Based Training
Instructions: Please allow 10-15 minutes for this process. You have to register for the course and claim your password when you hit the register button.

Enter first and last name
Enter a username of your choice
Enter your email address
Click Nursing Facility, Nursing Facility and Nurse Aide in Boxes for Affiliation
Once you hit the register button the application will open. You should see your name in the top left corner as the logged in learner.
You will now click register for course. The course name is LTCR-Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program(NATCEP). You will add this course to your cart.
Click proceed to cart in top right corner click confirm on course and it should be added to your dashboard.
Go Back to your dashboard. Before logging out in the menu to the left of your screen click messages. You will claim your password from the message sent here.
You will receive an email for txhhs. You will click on the link in your email.You may have to enter the username you created and your email address. Recheck your email and set your password. Your password has to have one capital letter, one special character (like an exclamation mark or dollar sign) and be 8 characters long.
2.) After you have claimed your password, access the link below, and log in with your new credentials.https://txhhs.geniussis.com/PublicWelcome.aspx
3.) Click on the course and begin the modules. There should be 8 modules in total. You must do the modules in the order they are listed. On some slides you have to open a pdf or scroll all the way to the bottom before it will let you move to the next screen. This is a self-paced course.
IMPORTANT: After completing the course, download your certificate and email it to us or bring a copy with you at the start of the Clinical/Lab session. You alone will be able to access this certificate.
